MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING, MAY 19, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 1:35 p.m. in the fire house by Bud Fuller, President.

Nancy Bowlin, Secretary/Treasurer, reported that a quorum was present in person and by proxy. (Actual count amounted to 465 lots represented in person or by proxy. Thirty-nine people were in attendance.)

Bud Fuller stated that the purpose of the meeting was to vote on a dues increase in the amount of $50.00 per lot per year, and opened the floor for discussion. The discussion period centered on concerns about the clubhouse and the availability of water. A motion to close the discussion was made by Tanya Koop, seconded by Dave Brown, and it carried.

Bill Knowles, Ed Beard, Mary Hinson and Deloris Brown volunteered to count ballots.

The increase passed by an unofficial vote of 374 to 90. (A later canvass of the votes reflected 376 to 88.) The measure required 312 affirmative votes (67% of the quorum) to pass.

There being no further business, a motion to adjourn made by Dave Brown and seconded by Ed Beard carried at 2:30 p.m.
