Monthly Snowpack Comparison
Snowpack in our subdivision varies greatly from year to year. In 2002 the maximum snowpack the entire winter was less than six inches. In contrast in the winter of 2018 snowpack rose to over three feet. So far this year the snowpack is close to the average snowpack observed over the last 19 years.
The chance of getting 15 inches of snow in a winter is close to 70 percent. However, getting 30 inches or more of snow is less than 20 percent.
