A Trash Receptacle Policy has been created. Please look under "Policies" on this web site.

Although no bear sightings have been reported recently, bears have been seen in the subdivision. Bears have an incredibly keen sense of smell, they are very smart and strong. They are omnivorous animals that can eat plant and animal matter. Bears have been seen climbing a tree to get to a hummingbird feeder or loitering around a typical bird feeder. Trash containers are a favorite source of food. Keeping a bear out of your trash can be a difficult task. They are able to push over heavy trash bins and bend open metal lids. Always make sure the lid to your trash receptacle is tightly secured.
