Lake Fork of the Gunnison

4/1/2025 - The Lake Fork of the Gunnison River water level tends to rise in the beginning of April, when the snow in the San Juan and surrounding area melts, and reaches its highest level by the end of early June. The water level then gradually drops to its lowest level by the end of November. The lowest water level is slightly under a foot and the highest level is around four feet. The measurements are recorded by the USGS (US Geological Survey) .
